This was taken whilst on a skiing holiday to Val D'Isere in the French Alps. Just for a change after a deep snowfall, I rented a pair of snowshoes. Val D'Isere is a manic place in the school holidays. However away from the hordes I found this serene place. It was difficult to get to because of deep snowdrifts. On my return a few days later the track had been well trampled.
